An oasis of peace in the West Flemish Hills

The Boshoeve is a unique place amidst the nature reserve HellegatBos . It is a ideal base for a weekend in the beautiful Heuvelland, in the middle of Flanders, in the westhoek .You can go hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding or simply relax with family or friends.

The newly renovated farm house offers room for 10 people. The farm itself is no longer active.

There are 6 bedrooms; 4 bedrooms with a double bed , 2 with 2 single beds and a cot on the first floor with a double bed on the ground floor . On the first floor there are 3 bathroom and 3 toilet.

On the ground floor there is the entrance , a large livingroom with a long table and chairs for 8 people, a seating agea equipped with a fireplace, tv , video, books, comics, games,etc..... Large open sliding windows give access to a panoramic terrace . To the left of the living room there is a bedroom and a bathroom . To the right there is a large fully equipped kitchen with a table and chairs for 8 people.The kitchen offers all the comforts such as dishwacher, oven, electric fire, coffee machine, etc....

Next to the kitchen there is a bicycle storage room, a toilet and laundry room.

The boshoeve lies on the slopes of the red moutain “ Rode Berg” one of the many hills of the West Flemish hills near the Kemmelberg.

While you’re on the spacious terrace enjoying vieuws of the region, in the distance jou see Poperinge and with some luck the belgian coast, you can make use of the ouddoor kitchen with gas cooker and barbecue.

Within walking distance there are local  shops and cosy retaurants. Ypres and Popringe are in the immediate vicinity and also the black mountain “ Zwarte Berg “ known for his Picon, a special drink. The whole region is also very well known for its local beers and wines.

Family Park Bellewaarde, Plopsaland, Bruges and the Belgian Coast are withen a radius of 20 km.

You can also stay and look for the 200 years old story of an impossible love.
